Looking for a simple direction on how to add new channels to my channel collection and from where.

Limited knowledge here! The present directions don't help. How to I add a new channel to my collection? Like I try to add the MSNBC channel and I get "no options" reply.
Are you sure you're looking at the Channel Collections page using the Channels DVR WebUI? Adding a channel to a collection is done by dropdown. First you choose one of your existing sources, and then you select the channel:
What sources have you added so far? And, which of your sources has MSNBC available?
Select an existing collection, or create a new one on the left, and then add or remove channels from that collection on the right.
Thank you. None of the sources contain this channel. That's why it doesn't show up. So how do I add it to any of my sources?

MSNBC is a paid cable TV channel. You will need a sub to view it in the Channels DVR app.
