Adservice

No connections were made. Only DNS queries.

The troubleshooter tries to make common DNS requests to detect if there's an adblocker on the network. This is a designed as a self-service tool to flag potential issues. Often users email us about streaming problems which turn out to be because of their ad blocker.

Hi All,
In my opinion, having ads play during a stream broadcast is all part of getting the content for free.
Places like Pluto and tubo etc insert ads to pay for that show you wish to watch.
the methods for setting this stuff up are kind of advanced and your typical user isn't going to even know what this is all about.
The user opens the native app and watches tv/fast channels etc and ghey watch ads.
Eventually, TVE will go away and as networks see that users default to the native app, your TVE will be going away quickly.
If you wwatch and enjoy free content online, you obviously need to respect the rights holders and watch the ads as they appear etc.
I operate free radio stations and are ad supported.
If you don't want to hear our ads, we don't need you as a listener.
The tv side is the same,

good luck.

And it's been that way since the advent of OTA TV

Yep, FAST as in Ad Supported

Most media consumers today consume streaming and don't record.
They need to be spoon-fed immediately with whatever is trending.
They get their news from social media.

They think users of Channels DVR are dinasours.
"Why do you need a linear program TV schedule"?

Let 'em think and do what they want :smile_cat:

Man, now I really feel life experienced :older_adult:
