What would cause all my recordings to go to the trash bin ???.. Trash (113) ... if it is because it did not mnt the USB drive in time it still should not put recordings in trash. FSTAB Mount point below ....

You are right I had an old ENTRY in my Synology task scheduler running Prune on the IP of my UBUNTU server. Guess it is not a good Idea to schedule automatic prunes ... All scheduled prunes I have removed.
All restored now.
