ATSC 3.0 Channels Station Filters

Started receiving ATSC 3.0 channels in my area on Tuesday

105.1 WPTV
112.1 WPEC
125.1 WPBF
129.1 WFLX
148.1 WWHB-CD

Noticed the Channels app on iOS/ATV/macOS only lists the ATSC 3.0 channels with the All Channels filter. Selecting HD Channels filters out the ATSC 3.0 channels.

I believe you need to update your HDHR firmware. There was a bug that marked ATSC3 stations as SD.

The Channels app on my Apple TV and iPhone both put my ATSC 3.0 channels in the SD category. It's not a big deal, since the only real impact is them not being listed under the HD guide filter. I'm just curious if this is a problem in how the HDHomeRun passes the channel info to Channels, or if it's something that can be corrected in the Channels app.

(I erroneously thought the bug had been fixed; looks like SD hasn't fixed it yet.)

What do those ATSC 3 channels look like in the Channel Lineup view?
I don't have their ATSC 3 tuner, but on my Prime, the HD channels show a HD tag

Ah, OK.
HEVC is the video codec, like MPEG2 or AVC.
Appears they didn't add HD tags.

Yes.

In my region, ATSC 3.0 broadcasts are a physically different tower, in a different direction, and on a different physical frequency from the ATSC 1.0 broadcasts.
