ATV Not Preparing TV

For about 3 weeks now, when I start channels on my Apple TV it does not start up as normal. It does not show the "Preparing your TV" instead I'll see a message that the server can't be found briefly than it opens the On Now menu. The program guide will not be beyond a day or two. If I reboot the ATV it works normal, until the next day. My other client (Niveda Shield) works without any problem. I have deleted the app from the ATV rebooted it to clear the memory and installed a fresh copy of the app. Any suggestions greatly appreached.

Client won't connect to DVR initially after wake up, then goes to on now section instead of recordings

Just submitted diagnostics, when I turn on the Apple TV from sleep and channels was the last app in use it will many times say that it can't connect to the DVR then connect after a few seconds. But afterwards it goes to the On Now section instead of recordings that I have set for both startup and resume.
