Audio playback issues?

Since we only use Channels on our AppleTVs, I’ll put this here - please move if appropriate -

For a couple weeks now, I’ve been having trouble getting audio to play when starting to playback a recording. The video will start easily enough, but no audio will play. Usually, waiting a bit and skipping backwards with the remote fixes it instantly, but not 100% - (maybe 90+%?)

We’ve not had the audio re-start issue during the same time (pausing the recorded show and shutting down the appleTV would kill video, but as the TV went dark, audio would restart on our homepods where we stopped) but this new problem is equally annoying -

Ideas?

HomePods? I use OG HomePods and this is a know issue.

I get this every time I tune to a virtual channel. Apple TV, pair of OG HomePods. Good to know it's a known issue at least: Apple TV + Channels + HomePods

Thanks for the tip! Watching any streaming channel (e.g., Pluto) through Channels and audio through HomePod would have video with no audio. By "rewinding" and replaying it fixes the audio situation.
