Cannot record more than one NBA playoff game

I did a search on NBA, then chose "NBA Basketball" from the search results. I had already hit record on the Clippers @Spurs game. I then wanted to selectively add each playoff game. Once I added the first, I could not add any more. I guess all the "First Round: Teams TBA" games are regarded as the same episode. For example, I can't record the Sunday game. The UI tells me the game is already queued for Saturday (but that's a different game).

OK, so that didn't work. I next tried a league pass. That would also include the Clippers/Spurs game, but that's fine, I want that game anyway. So, I added the league pass, but I still only get the first playoff game and can't add any more. See attached photo. Even if this is due to guide data, it would be nice to have a straightforward way to force an epsidode recording even if the DVR thinks the show is already queued.

Since you created a Pass, all those games should record when the guide data updates itself with the correct episode ids and team names.

Technically the DVR is happy to record whatever you tell it, and I could make it easier in the UI by providing some sort of “force record” option in that dropdown. However, the problem with creating jobs manually is that they will be stuck with the metadata from the time of the recording. So even when the show is recorded, it won’t have the correct team names listed. And if the game were to be rescheduled, it would be recorded at the wrong time.

By using a Pass, you don’t have to worry about any of this because the DVR will automatically pick up the new games when their metadata fills in, and handle rescheduling intelligently based on the guide data.

Please note that I didn’t Intend to create a pass. I created one (which required including all NBA games, not just the playoffs), in an attempt to record more than just the first playoff game being aired. It sounds like, once I created the pass, all of the games will be recorded—despite what the UI was telling me. Would they all have been recorded also just by hitting record on the first playoff? I certainly don’t know because the UI looked identical—saying for later games that the first game will be recorded. Confusing is a word that comes to mind.
