Can't Import Movies

Newbie here to Channels. I've tried importing my movies (mostly MP4s) to Channels, but nothing is showing up. They live in a separate folder on my NAS and other media players (e.g., Plex, Infuse) have no problems with them. If I move a movie however from their original folder to ChannelsDVR/Imports/Movies they show up (but with no metadata/movie posters/etc.). I know I'm pointing to the right directory and I have done "Scan Personal Media" several times to no avail. Any thoughts?

Usually happens if you didn't grant permissions to the share in the Synology settings (to the channels user)
