How do you change the time the server auto updates? It's occurring midday and it would be better to postpone to nighttime.
You can't change it.
It won't update to a new release (restart) until the server is idle.
Odd because it did it while I was watching something. Unfortunate behavior
That is definitely not supposed to happen while there is some activity on the server.
I think the developers will be interested to see your server logs.

Like mjitkop says. Submit Diagnostics from your DVR Server.
Are you talking about daily guide data updates or the actual dvr software updates that happen once every few months?

That's true, and I don't think they figured out the problem back then.
Hopefully, with new log data, the developers will give it another look now.
