I currently have an Nvidia shield as my server and I 1TB drive which fills up pretty fast. I have just purchased a 10TB Ssd drive to use on the shield as the DVR database. I have tried to just plug it in and leave the 1TB drive still attached and I cannot get channels to recognize the 10TB blank drive to add to the storage. What's the process to change hard drives? The shield will recognize the new drive no problem.

Cool! For anyone else looking to move an existing DVR to the SHIELD, you can prepare your USB drive as follows:
- Format drive as NTFS, ExFAT or HFS+
- Create a “NVIDIA_SHIELD” directory on your drive
- Copy your existing DVR folder into the new “NVIDIA_SHIELD” directory
- Attach USB drive to the SHIELD
- Install Channels DVR from Play store
- Visit http://dvr-shield.local:8089/restore and navigate to the Database directory on your USB drive to restore your recordings, passes and settings
