Channel Guide messed up

I have been using Channels for several years as the household main TV viewing agent.

Over the last few months the channel guide has become wildly inaccurate.

The HD Homerun channels - which it is correctly identifying are being changed by Channels to totally random stupid stuff.

This is results in recordings being way off, ie it records BBC3 when it should be recording BBC1 because Channels takes the BBC3 feed and renames it BBC1 downloads the TV guide for BB1 and applies I to BBC3.

I have reloaded Lineup, deleted Guide, redownloaded guide, removed Homerun as a source, reloaded it - HD Homerun gets the Channel lineup perfect every time.

I have removed Provider and readied using the Postcode and Channels still gets it windy wrong.

Is there anyway to get Channels to read the Channel labels from HDHomerun and use those rather than just make stuff up?

I have been engaging with Support but can't get anywhere with them - they just keep recommending the same sequence I have repeatedly followed.

So any ideas or has the day of Channels just passed and time to find an alternative. Damn shame given how long it has been working

Don't know why the developers haven't responded to you.

You can try what's mentioned in this post if the official HDHR app has the guide correct.
SHIFT click Sync Station Mapping

UK BBC Regional HD Guide Data

You can use the SD data, it won't mess anything up. You can also try syncing to whatever data the HDHR app is using, as follows: on a computer, click the gear icon next to HDHR under sources hold down SHIFT on keyboard click Sync Station Mapping

I would then delete and recreate the guide database.

I have experienced the same. Something changed my Fox Feed to be a completely different channel. I missed several days worth of recordings until I noticed and had to manually set the channel back to being FOX. Gremlins in the system?
