Channels not detecting Commercials

I have been using Channels DVR since November 2025. It has been working flawlessly. Now over the past couple of weeks I've noticed commercial detection failing. Most of the time it only skips the ads once or twice during a 1 hour show. There's no markings on the show, except for the ending. I pull in channel recordings into plex. So obviously, that isn't skipping there either. Did something get updated or change? I am using the a 4k Apple TV to view. I am using an older MacBook Pro as my server.

Update: the Beta Version fixed my issues with Channels DVR not detecting commercials.

I know there was some work done on some of this in the beta releases. They also introduced a new enhanced version. Might want to give it a try.

Commercial detection will always be a work in progress as it seems they are always trying to switch something up to make it harder to create the skip during commercials. I am glad it is working better for you!
