Attached is the folder structure of my server. I'm looking to combine the Plex drive and the Channels drive onto a third drive. I know how to handle the RAID side. I'm just wondering what I have to do beyond copying the data, particularly if the drive letter changes. Any suggestions for the Channels part of the process?
Some details:
Current configuration
C drive is of course Windows and apps. 1x 512MB NVME
D drive is primarily Channels DVR. 2x 2TB SATA Drive Management stripe
E drive is primarily Plex. 2x 8TB SATA Storage Spaces two way mirror
Upcoming configuration
C drive unchanged
D drive primarily Channels DVR and Plex. 2x 8TB SATA Drive Management stripe
E drive scheduled backup of D drive. New 14TB SATA
One more note: this only has four SATA ports so each existing array will have to be taken offline while the array is copied to the new drive. USB is not an option either as that machine has an issue that is causing random USB bus resets.
