Dropped some AVI files into one of my import directories, but Channels DVR can't seem to play them (Firestick, AppleTV, etc.). Is this currently possible, or at least possible at some time in the future?

Ah. I see that is for Beta apps only at this point.
In the AppleTV Channels DVR app I went to the settings but I'm not finding the place to download the Beta app, as we do for the Android Beta App. How is the Beta app installed on the AppleTV?
Better yet, how long do you think before this can be rolled into the standard [non-beta] software?

Aman, I think I'm going to go ahead and avoid the beta version on my devices whenever possible. It seems to cause significant confusion with the family when the icons for either app seem to look similar (at least on Android).

The release history is fully listed on the links provided earlier. There has already been a release since that beta.
Thanks for adding this codec, Aman. I was able to get it running on the Firesticks with beta client software, but not on the AppleTV device yet.
