I thought a tuner that isn't assigned a guide provider would not be enabled, but from what I see they are and there is no way to disable a tuner so that the DVR doesn't use it.
Is there a workaround to keep a DVR from using a certain tuner?
Yeah even if you disable a tuner the Clients can also use it no way around that, drives me nuts.
If you're talking about the clients, can't you disable that source in the client?
I know the DVR doesn't use it if it hasn't been assigned a guide provider.
But the clients interact directly with HDHR tuners.
A setting is needed that if you disable it on the server, it should be disabled on any client that connects.
