DVR not working on Windows 8.1

if i ctrl+c 3 times it will kill it which removes it from task manager as well.

Can you try running the command again, after changing to -loglevel info and change -t 0.1 to -t 1. See if it still hangs or works this time.

Also if you feel comfortable installing TightVNC server to give me temporary remote access, that would be helpful.

Thanks has been fixed in the latest DVR build.

I’m not sure if Windows 8.1 has some problem with hardware transcoding, or the issue was specific to @mpfountz’s computer. If someone else has the DVR running on Windows 8.1, let me know if the latest version lets you use hardware transcoding or now.
