DVR Source Device Priority

One thing you can try, not sure if it will help, but won't hurt.
Go to your DVR web admin UI Settings > Sources > dropdown and select Adjust Priority, then click the Save button. That will make sure the settings database is updated with your source devices priority.
I've found when you add source devices, the priorities aren't always updated in the settings database and old removed/deleted source devices aren't being purged.

Appears that it's also holding onto old, deleted sources in settings.

My second priority source (M3U-LocalFOX40KTXL) doesn't even appear in the list.
So I changed source priority, saved and now it appears in the list.

The priority issue was fixed. If there are other settings being left behind let me know.

OK. Didn't know that.
Running v2025.07.19.0550 and /settings still looks the same as what I posted, with all the deleted sources and their priorities still there.
And after adding a new M3U source, it doesn't appear in the /settings device.priority list

I can see that querying the API /devices?all=true displays all of the current source devices in their priority order.
So it appears that the /settings device.priority list is superfluous and can be ignored.
