Error: context deadline exceeded

Hello, I've recently starting getting this error when trying to add a custom channel source:
invalid source url: context deadline exceeded (Client.Timeout or context cancellation while reading body)

I tested using the same M3U link with a different app on the same home network and that app was able to connect ok. The same link was previously working with Channels and although my subscription changed the link didn’t, so I'm not really sure what would be different.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

Found the issue, channel list was too large so had to filter with m3u4u. Would be nice if some of the m3u4u functionality could eventually be implemented in Channels. :crossed_fingers:

Glad I saw this. I have not been able to add a recent provider link under Custom Channels and it won't work on m3u4u, so I asked my provider to reduce the number of groups in my subscription. I hope this fixes the issue for me as well.

Each Custom M3U channel source is limited to 750 channels in Channels DVR.
