Nevermind, nothing tells you how to add it to channels
Not worth the aggravation
Literally first post, first sentence. Link to github project with all instructions.
I see nothing there on how to get it into Channels. I guess you need some kind of M3U and xml guide, but I have no idea where to get it.
I see that, how do I create those?
Use your browser and go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8185 (use your server's ip address) and it will show you the info you need.
It just times out
I got invalid source. Is iya problem that the docker address ends in /24?
Post a screenshot of your config
Use the ip of the machine that docker is running on. If docker is on the same machine as your dvr server, you can find the ip in the dvr settings under status, server information, net.
Use that ip followed by :8000
You first need to setup some things in eplus. To do this open a browser window and type the ip of the docker folllowed by :8000
To add to this if you can get to this page then it will work in channels. If you cannot navigate to 127.0.0.1:8000 or local.ip.address.ofcomputer:8000 then there is no way it will work in channels
here is my channels address Advertising dvr-laptop-rnb3gta7.local. via 2 networks: [192.168.12.132, 172.18.64.1]
Ok so channels is in a docker container? If so you will need to use the 172.18 addr of the eplus continer when configuring channels. Containers cannot communicate through the host. They have to use the local container addr.
At least thats the way is on linux. Windows may be different, a windows user can chime in on that one
I've been running these channels for a week now, and they are great. This is an excellent add-on to Channels! I've enabled all of the sources I have a subscription to, including CBS Sports. What is the CBS Sports add-on exactly? Is it a live feed when sports are showing on CBS?
Just curious, On the web interface, exactly what does the rebuild EPG button do?
It will clear the current schedule and will re-download and schedule all of your providers
Also along those lines, what does "Reset Active Playing Channels" do? Does it remove all tokens and require re-authenticating?
