1. did something change in the Pluto feed because now I get captions! (which is great.)

2. I installed FastChannels using a YAML file on my Synology NAS. I use Container Manager (am a luddite.). I assume with the code below I just need to restart for it to pull the latest image?

Most of the Gracenote IDs seem to be 6 digits. The Gracenote column on the Channels tab only displays 5 digits (at least for me). Anywhere you could dig-up a few extra pixels?

Man… that page is so cramped for real estate. I’ll keep trying. I don’t love it either. I’ve had to move things 2 pixels at a time.

Nothing I did, but I believe Channels added support for WebVTT subtitles recently. And some of Pluto channels used another type of subtitles too. Not sure of the technical side of how subtitles work but glad it does!

BETA: WebVTT caption support for HLS Custom Sources

In the latest DVR pre-release we have launched support for handling WebVTT captions from HLS-based Custom Sources. There are some FAST channels that use these WebVTT captions that will now be visible in clients. NOTE: The captions will not be visible in the web client and will not be visible to other players. Please let us know if you run into any issues trying to use them.

And we had a PM convo two days ago about VOD playing in web player but not client. Your memory is laughably bad.

OK, NOW it's marked as VOD after enabling it.

Try stream audit on Xumo and see if it marks them properly.

That's how I got the stream audit to display VOD for the DEAD channels.

I mean technically it is a dead stream…. Splitting hairs here. It won’t play on Channels.

If I. select "Not in any feed" and Category=Movies, when I click Apply, the Category control reverts to "All Categories" and no channels are displayed.

Those are the only filters that are selected. I have plenty of disabled Movie channels that should have been listed.

Not in any feed on its own seems to work OK.

ahhh thats a good one. i think its a timing issue of how I setup that filter .. I need to query the category filter BEFORE feed category is looked at. will fix.

I just tried to run "Force Full" followed by an audit for Plex and it apparently didn't go well.

I'd say he's more or less a beta tester as most are in this thread. I call that "feedback", and at times they tease and joke with each other. Not nearly the drama you suggest IMO.

I mean, I do roll my eyes from time to time, but all in good fun. I appreciate the feedback from everyone. I think I have more fun making this than actually using it.
