Feature request: small counter and/or clock on screen

I’m a long time TiVo user just starting with Channels. I love it! TiVo had a non-advertised “hack” code that would allow you to put the clock and position timer in the top right corner of the screen. Having this as an option in Channels would be awesome. Thanks and keep up the good work on this amazing DVR!

Thanks but I’m referring to on the screen while a recording is playing, with time and position counter. Not on the guide.

FWIW I requested something similar a couple of weeks ago:

Toggle in timeline between duration and relative/absolute time

In the TV app, Netflix, HBO Max, and any other app that uses the built-in tvOS player, when you are watching a movie or show and tap the touchpad to bring up the timeline, a second tap changes from displaying the duration, to display the actual time (AM / PM) that the playback will end, at your current playback speed. [image] [image] This is very thoughtful UX, and convenient, especially with time management in a family. Submitting this as a feature request, it would be great to see this …

Yeah that’s similar but the one I’m referring to that TiVo has is one that would be on screen the entire time the recording is playing, no button pressing necessary. It should be a toggle-able option, similar to the stats that are available that cover the entire screen.
