Guide not showing current airing for channel with tvg-shift="+3"

Continuing the discussion from TV Guide listings for live offset times are missing now:
I'm not allowed to add a post to that topic (no more than 3 consecutive posts), so had to create a new topic.

I'm seeing the issue running the latest v2025.04.23.2347
Channel with tvg-shift="+3" is not displaying current airing, so cannot watch it.

First visible airing starts at 11:45 and the screenshot was taken at 11:25.

I'm not using another server as a source, just a single custom m3u channel on this server.

Did you delete and recreate the guide data ? I have tvg-shift=”-3” and it is working.

Good point. Maybe it happened because I just updated to the latest pre-release version.
Doing a delete an recreate now (that always fixes it temporarily).

Bummer, that didn't fix it

On Now doesn't know what's airing either

OK, had to step back and put my thinking cap on.

I'm using a station id for the east coast feed (but viewing the west coast feed) and when CDVR grabs guide data, it grabs the east coast guide data from current airings forward.

So the current east coast guide airings don't start for another 3 hours on the west coast feed.

Then CDVR shifts the guide data for the channel forward by 3 hours, so the earliest airing I can see will be 3 hours from now.

So if I delete and recreate the guide database at NOON, the earliest guide data it fetched will be for 3PM.

For those doing the opposite, tvg-shift=”-3”, it wouldn't be a problem.

I'll just have to wait 3 hours and see if it's fixed.

Working now after updating to latest pre-release, delete and rebuild guide database and waiting 3 hours.
