Is the HDHomeRun Scribe DVR functionality compatible with the Channels HDHomeRun app? I’d sure like to be able to cut the cord but want to make sure it’ll work.

As a tuner only:

HDHR Scribe

The Scribe and Servio will not allow running third-party code, so we won't be able to run Channels DVR on them. They're also not powerful enough to store guide data locally or do commercial indexing or transcoding. So no, we won't be supporting them. If you get the Scribe Duo you'll be able to use the two tuners on it with Channels and Channels DVR like any other HDHR tuner.
