Is there a way to hide a virtual channel? I made a Christmas channel and now I don't want it to keep showing up in the guide. Is there a way to make it stop showing up without deleting it?
No but you can change the channel number to anything you would like. Something like 19000 would push it to the end of the guide. Then next season you just change the channel number back.
Most of us are using Channel Collections, which allow us to just add and remove them whenever we want.
Here is a thread to help get some ideas for how you could use channel collections.
As Maddox stated most are transitioning to channel collections to do what you are referring to as well as reorder channels.
