When I move shows to ‘kids’ on iOS or Android it works, at first, but later, everything is back in ‘library’.
I then tried using the dvr web GUI. The option is there, but clicking the check box does not do anything.
I have just recently noticed this happening with Kids programming from Pluto on Docker. Its not been an issue with other sources for me, and I've only noticed it happening on TV shows vs. Movies. Specifically Sponge Bob I've moved to Kids about a half dozen times and it initially goes there and then it seems to go back at some point. If I had to guess, in my case I think its going back when another recording happens, but that is just my speculation. I've moved a lot of other shows to Kids and they stayed there in the past... not done it recently. I'm running Channels DVR on a Mac Mini, and specially testing this on an Apple TV.
I think that helps...there were a few shows that did not lose there kidness, I had assumed they were older recordings that got set before the problem started. Checking again and it does look like all the problem shows are from Pluto.
It does not seem to be related to a new recording ( at least, not of the same show ) as most are completed series. I should try deleting the passes for them.
Definitely Pluto related.
In the Web GUI I CAN set Kids for non-Pluto recording, but not for Pluto ones.
Ok, good... sounds like we are seeing the same thing with Pluto recordings not keeping the Kid setting. I'm going to cross link this into the Pluto thread.
This is fixed on the web UI in the latest prerelease
