Live Recording Jumps to Beginning At Airtime End

I was recording the Super Bowl today but ended up watching the end of it live. Come 10:00EST (the guide end time for the show), the stream jumped back to the beginning of the show and I was no longer watching the show live.

This was obviously annoying given the circumstances since the game was running long vs the scheduled airtime. Is there some setting I can toggle that makes Channels stay on the live channel if watching a recording live post the recording ending? If not, this would be a very nice feature to add since jumping back to the bringing seems counter intuitive when watching live.

For this reason if I’m watching a recording of sports and I catch up to live, I typically back out and start watching live.

Yea, so I guess I'm not missing anything :slight_smile:

Perhaps the devs can add a feature to allow a switch over to the live broadcast on the same channel if you are caught up to the live feed? Maybe via a setting toggle or something. That probably aligns with how many people would expect it to work.

I suppose one could also add just a ton of padding to a live sporting event to prevent the recording from jumping to the beginning but having the app seamlessly transition would be even better.
