I've noticed some movies I'll record show up as TV Show. OK, fine. But when I'm looking through program guide I see the movies on other channels as movies but NOT recorded, of course (because I recorded them as a "show"). Is there a way to mark any program in the guide as "recorded"? This can also help for movies I already own that when I see in the guide I can mark "recorded" so it's quicker for me to search. Does that make sense?
Not from the user interface. It's been long requested, but never added.
It's possible using the curl program from a command line though.
You need to know the ProgramID for the episode or movie and then send the command using curl to your Channels DVR server to mark it as recorded . See Mark as Recorded - #11 by chDVRuser
