Available OTA in the Buffalo, NY area, there can be over 4 distinct NFL games on at the same time (between Canadian coverage and American coverage). This is also the case for many other markets across the country. I'm wondering if it would be possible to implement a multi channel viewer for those of us with 4 tuner HDHomeRuns (or those of us with many HDHomeRuns) on the LAN. I'm sure this functionality would work best with an Apple TV connected to the LAN via an ethernet cable. Also, this could be nice for those that want to watch different sports at the same time. For instance, as I'm writing this, the US Open Tennis is on ABC, an NFL Football game is on FOX, and PBR is on CBS.
There’s no plans to do multiview. This topic has been discussed and explained numerous times in the past.
