Network Tuner Disconnected Error

I was watching a recording last night and got the message "Network Tuner Disconnected". When I check the recordings screen, it showed the recordings of two shows were interrupted. I checked the HDHomeRun Quattro and it looks fine.

How do I troubleshoot this error?

What device is the dvr server running on?Sounds like it was having some issues, based on the info you provided.

Windows PC. I checked the system log and there were not problems. I was able to continue watching recorded show without any problem.

I've never heard of a HD Homerun crashing but everything crashed from time to time I suppose. Does the system log offer any insight?

I looked at the logs and did not see anything unusual.

Well "NetworkGuy" whenever something like this happens to me, I suspect my network first. But that's because I have broken all the rules and connected my HD Homerun via WiFi. I'm surprised how reliable it is given my poor design. Any reason to expect network weirdness?

Network has been great since I upgraded to a TP-Link Deco M9 mesh system a year ago.

I figured it was. Just messing with you.

So is the mesh network between the pc running the dvr software and the HDHR? If so there was likely interference or some other kind of wireless interruption that caused it.

What device? Sounds like maybe it's the android built in Live Channels app that's doing this, because I don't think we have any such message in our app.

All connections are wired.

OK, but the ChannelsDVR recordings at that time were interrupted.

The Live Channels app can cause this issue because it's constantly pinging the HDHR in the background

Good to know. I will disable it on all my devices.

Hi I am troubleshooting a similar issue. DVR will say interrupted. Sometimes will say it recorded 5 seconds, sometimes 1500 hours. Most of the time it will still record the entire show and allow me to watch the recording. How do I disable the live channels app?
