No match for a movie recorded with a manual POST request

I created a manual recording for 5 minutes of a movie by sending a POST request with a json payload that even included the image URL for the poster. The recording itself worked fine:

I wanted to see if I could match it but that fails:

Does the matching feature need more than the title?

Matching is for imports so it probably doesn't work for recordings.

I was hoping it would work when I saw the "Find Match" button. :slight_smile:

So no hope for this to work in the future? :grimacing: :pray:

Try enclosing the search string in double quote marks

Yep, only works with imports.
When you do the manual recording you can set the gracenote tms id for the movie to get the gracenote movie metadata. Haven't tried using a TMDB id when creating a manual recording though.

If somebody is wondering why I'm doing this and not doing a full, normal recording, I'm just experimenting.
