Odd behavior viewing guide

The latest Android Pre-release, In pip mode selecting a channel the selection advances to next program on the right before clicking the select button for the second time to cause pip to full screen. When you click the back button to view guide, pip mode, the record promp window is showing.

When I select a show to watch from the guide by clicking the OK or dpad center button on the remote, the show selection cursor briefly alights on the next show on the selected channel before the display of the selected show begins. This is on a CCGTV running beta 112.18.2049. It also happens on my Shield TV Pro 2019, but did not happen before app updates over the past few days.
