I am having problems when recording on Motortrend channel. Recordings are choppy and pixelated. Is this a band width issue?
Just checked the same TVE channel here (about 10 mins of Bitchin' Rides) and it's very clear, no pixelation at all.
When I watch it I never have an issue, only when I record show on it. It is random, I record all week and watch on the weekend. Two different recording have done it.

That's what I did to imitate the condition, I recorded it and watched the recording. Is it possible there is an internal network issue, or Internet speed issue? I suppose you would see that on other channels also ...
This is with Channels DVR installed on a fairly powerful Windows PC.
Thank you! My old WD NAS constantly crashed during play back, I switched to my other NAS, a Synology unit and everything works amazingly well except for these two issues. I think I need more power Scotty!
The NAS combination with Channels DVR seems to be a very popular option. Are there a bunch of recordings occurring at the same time when you experience the pixelation? Before arbitrarily increasing power you might want to hear from some other Synology users to check in and report on their experiences.

I need to keep better track of my recording schedule and start documenting it! I have been very slack due to the unit performing so well! I will do more research! Thank you for your help today sir!
