I agree that would be a nice feature. Perhaps you could ask for it in the "Feature Requests" section of this forum. https://community.getchannels.com/c/channels-android-tv/feature-requests/23 I'm willing to "up-vote" your request.
It has been several months since I checked in on this guide scrolling issue. Nothing has changed. My stable version 4.9.4 scrolls normally. Because I like to be helpful, I tried joining the beta program again.
The current beta v2026.01.23.2022 still has the same scrolling and jumping back problem as previously described. So, I have dis-enrolled from the beta program again because the issue which was reported by several of us has not been addressed.
Yeah, I can confirm the guide does scroll to the future.

In the current beta, I can scroll to the future, which one would do to see what's coming up. But, if the upcoming program extends beyond the current on-screen guide window, when I scroll to the right, the highlighted selection jumps back to the left.
Are you saying that yours does not do that?
I'm going to install the beta again and see if I can grab a screen recording of the behavior.
Oh, no, I'm referring to a different bug. When I use Page Down on my SofaBaton U2, it scrolls into the future instead of scrolling down. I think I got confused with this bug. Page up works and some other people were able to replicate this as well.
I don't have a SofaBaton. I'm just using the Nvidia Shield OEM remote.
I'm trying to post a link to a video I captured. What's an easy way for me to share a video clip on this forum? It seems to me that a while back you shared a video using OneNote...
EDIT: I'll try this: In this video, I am only scrolling to the right in the program guide. Any cursor/highlight movement back towards the left is spontaneous after navigating to the right with the remote.

Agreed, this problem is fairly annoying. The guide jumps back and forth constantly while trying to scroll to the right. The nice thing is it doesn't seem to lockup the guide like it would do sometimes. Channels does most things very good, but the guide has not been great.
Yeah. That is true for the last several beta releases for Android. The stable version scrolls as it should. I want to stay updated with the latest beta as I like to help troubleshoot issues as they come up. Unfortunately, the only way I can have my guide working properly is to stay away from beta testing of the Android client software.
