I went with the larger Pi just because I may repurpose it later for another use where I want to take advantage of Ram Disk.

I have the Channels DVR (Raspberry Pi 4) using an Argon case (ON/OFF button & Auto-Fan) do we need to install the Argon Scrips for the features (ON/OFF button & Auto-Fan) to work.

Raspberry Pi 4

You'll need to read through that install script, source the missing programs, and manually install and configure their programs. The Raspberry Pi 4 image is a minimal operating system, and not meant to be a general purpose system. In your case, you might be better off installing the Raspberry Pi OS, and treating it like a regular Linux system if you can't get Argon tools manually installed.
