If this has been asked, I apologize, but I couldn't really find anything that may reference how to do this.
I'm running Channels Server on a Windows 11 Pro machine. It has the Database and the Recordings on the same external drive. At least if I'm reading the General > Settings correctly:
Next Server Enabled it shows E:\Channels and the first storage location is E:\Channels.
In E:\Channels there is the Database folder.
Can I put the Database to the local drive and keep the recordings on the external drive?
That's how it is setup already by default.
The Database directory on your E: contains only backups, so you can reinstall the DVR on another machine without copying anything else.
