last week shuffle stopped working for me.
when playing TV shows and choosing 'shuffle' the video starts, at the end the small corner box announces the next video, but when it tries to play the next video, it simply stops. I've been using shuffle for years with no issue until last week.
no hardware changes just the pre-release version updates.
QNAP server and also a Windows OS server both same results.
