Gosh, Channels is like the gift that keeps giving n giving!!
I only recently tried it myself. But I'm loving it more n more every day. It just has SOOOO many features n options. But as I quickly learned. Not all are available from the apps I use to watch TV on. But a lot is only available from the web browser page. Which I guess makes sense, put the most used on the apps. The rest for advanced users on the server page.
But I read somewhere people were complaining that they can't trigger the commercial detection to run for a recording still in progress. But I just did that. So I'm not sure if this was added since they wrote that, or they just didn't know how. But from the server page, the recordings have a option to Redetect Commercials. So I just clicked that on a show that is still mid recording (Svengoolie), and it ran it perfectly! I could even edit them after.
