Some Hulu Channels Failing SCan

Switching from Fubo to Hulu because Fubo dropped a number of channels.

Some channels like Hallmark and BBCA are failing the scan, but I know the channels support TVE because they work under Fubo. The logs just show "login not suppported".

There is a huge thread on hulu issues. Try youtube tv it works 100% better

I just switched to YouTube TV and TVE works great! I did have to setup a family account and share my service with that new email to get around the 2 factor. Also I had to rescan a couple of channels that failed. Then I tested with ADBTuner using ONN devices with my LinkPi. OMG the speed of tuning and picture quality is 1000% better. I cannot tell a difference now between TVE and my LinkPi setup. When Hulu TVE started failing the only reason I knew is because the picture quality of all channel…

Those channels are not offered with tve with Hulu. Just because one provider provides access to a channel via tve doesn’t mean other providers have the same agreement. If you want to compare providers and what channels they provide via tve check out the link.

And I learned something new! I assumed that I if a channel supported TVE then the provider would make it available as well. Is there a reason that they do not? Does it cost them more?

Yes, it costs them more to also offer channels via TVE.

If you are missing the Lifestyle stuff removed by Fubo, just grab a Philo subscription and all those neat non=-sports stations will return.
The only discovery station missing from TVE is Discovery Family. I've got it handled.
I used Hulu for TVE and hated their whole experience.
Philo is the service to keep in the old channels toolbox.
