Some Movie Posters Artwork Missing In Recordings

Any reason my movies metadata is not coming down in the recorded section? It's all good in the upcoming section, just in here it's corrupted. On my Android TV it's the same thing.

Not sure what you mean by Corrupt Meta Data.

Yeah missing posters but all the posters are there when I originally select the movies in upcoming… some posters get lost when the movies hit the recorded section. It's sort of a bad vibe for my movie collection

As I said before the venom one was working in upcoming but not anywhere in recorded.

You're using guide data from SiliconDust so I recommend telling them about the issue via support@silicondust.com and send them the same URLs

I talked to SD and it sounds like this is the expected behavior with their XMLTV service. The images go away after a while if the program is no longer airing.

We will look to see if its possible to fix this on our side.

I have 2 tuners now, a 2 channel + 4 channel. The 2 channel is registered and gets the guide data and the 4 is not registered I'm just using the cloned guide data from the 2 channel... maybe that's involved here???

Would it be difficult to cache a local copy of movie images for recorded shows?

Please update to the latest pre-release and then go to one of the movies you're having problems with and select Manage -> Refresh Metadata and let us know if it fixes the image.

Yes I can manually update all the missing posters to new high quality ones with the latest prerelease.

What did you do? Just out of general curiosity?

We are now doing proper mappings to our internal guide data provider when a recording is completed which should give higher quality images and prevent this issue in the future.

The change we made only affects movies after they have recorded.

The live tv guide data comes from your xmltv subscription with SiliconDust. It is supposed to match what's shown in their app. You may need to contact support@silicondust.com

Sorry guys it was my credit card expired which cancelled my guide data… bad timing for the second part of my posts which I deleted.
