Thanks for clarifying. Would running Channels in a Docker like @chDVRuser suggested help with that or is it just the limitation of Channels running on the Synology NAS?
I would have to let @chDVRuser answer that as I know he had flipped back and forth on it a few times. I want to say yes but I have never ran Channels in docker. I run mine on a mini pc with linux. I just happen to keep my Synology updated as a backup.
Yes, that's the reason for this
The developers aren't going to update the chrome for the Synology package any longer.
They probably will for the docker container.
I haven't gotten a reply yet, also, the click and hold has not updated my chrome, it is at 122.0.6261.89. I should note in my case it's not a Synology install, but rather a Linux Raspbian.
Thanks for confirming. I was a bit overwhelmed with the thought of having to rush through moving everything over to the Docker container just to get TV Everywhere back so thankful this fixed it for the moment. I'm getting ready for a bit of travel but after I get back I'll look into getting the Docker container setup and migrating things over.
Have you not upgraded the OS on this device? It was rebranded in 2020 to Rasberry Pi OS. Have you tried to run apt update from the command line to see if you can get chrome to update. I would assume it has the OS installed version of chrome. But you might run into the same issue of being so outdated that the OS doesn't upgrade to a later version of chromium unless you are on a more modern version of OS. I don't have a Rasberry Pi, I am just looking at this like a linux distro.
