SRT files - beta

I was told by one of the devlopers that SRT files was "just added" to the "newest beta releases?. However, sure not seeing how to use SRT in the in the apple TV app (via testflight)??? Any help?

They must be placed beside the imported movie/show, with the same name (except for the extension).

Yes they are in the same directory but not being recognized.

Then perhaps some concrete details?

  • DVR server version number
  • Client app version number
  • Exact path/filename of content
  • Have you tried to manually scan for imported content after adding the SubRip files?

then select Refresh Metadata on the import from the DVR web UI
