Per some of the previous threads I have been trying to access the channel specific streams via the "http://X.X.X.X:8089/devices/ANY/channels/###/stream.mpg" syntax but have been unsuccessful when using my Synology NAS which is able to output the .m3u feed but not .mpg. I decided to test by installing the ChannelsDVR server software directly on my Mac and when I did that I am able to access the stream.mpg output. Is this a known limitation or setting I can toggle somewhere on the Synology NAS installation as that is the primary server I use?
Still works for me. Try putting that url in VLC as a network stream.
What happens when it doesn't work. Any errors in the dvr log?
Interesting. Yes, I've tried VLC on multiple Macs and iPad. I will try via Windows later today. I've tried the 4 combinations below in VLC and the 4th one without stream.mpg is the only that works. Perhaps this is some sort of firewall issue but I didn't see anything obvious which might be causing it. Are you using Synology as your Channels DVR server?

Yes, using Synology.
See my post here
Noticed you're using two different IP addresses. 192.168.0.227 and 192.268.0.227
Wow. User error as I had missed the 268 vs. 168 IP address differences. I feel bad and thank you very much for the help!
