Eufy cameras, for the most part, do not stream continuously. They only stream when there is activity that triggers an event. I have an indoor camera that has the NAS option for “continuous recording” which keeps the stream live, but this option is not available on the battery cameras.
All but one of my Eufy cameras are connected to power. I don’t suppose this matters does it?

No, not unless under the NAS settings to enable the RTSP stream there is an option for “continuous recording” … if so, then enabling that option (again, under the NAS settings) should create a continuous stream.
Otherwise Eufy doesn’t provide any method to trigger a recording event that you can capture. Many have asked for an API or method to remotely trigger the camera outside of their app…unfortunately they haven’t seen the need for this.
