I am not getting the TVE Channels to work on this setup. I just realized that maybe Chrome isn't installed on this device? How can I check or install it?
how do I uninstall channels from this NAS? I tried the recommended commands for Linux I found in a Google search but they don't seem to work.
Is just uninstalling the folder enough?
I just spent a number of hours trying to get DVR running on current TOS, and there were just too many issues to overcome, primarily no bin/sudo and no package manager. I even tried to to use git to root install a working copy of Chromium but that didn't seem to work either. So I'm going to start over by installing TrueNAS/FreeNAS on the box and do it all the supported way.
But also in the end, it became clear that this Chinese distro is so heavily modified that it shouldn't be trusted to be secure anyway.
Hoping my comments will prevent others from wasting a bunch of time on this pointless effort in the future.
