On iMac (i-5-7600):
Live - Transcoder intermittently drops to below 1.00, pause as buffer fills, resumes at +1.XX
Recorded - Excellent
On Qnap 251A:
Live - Transcoder intermittent drops...expected behavior as noted re: CPU in: Pixellation & Stuttering - TVE
Recorded - as expected as in above thread.
However, overall Live and Recorded is improved.

yes, glad the quality issue is fixed.
@DebbieFL The transcoder only runs for me on OTA channels, which are extremely high quality now. At 1080p 8mbps, which is what I usually have web-streaming set for on my gigabit network, TVE channels don't run transcode, only remux. If I drop down the bitrate of the web-streaming, transcoder will run, but I haven't experienced any intermittent pauses. This is on a Synology DS916+. Guess maybe I am suggesting that if you increase the bitrate, the issue will go away for TVE.
We are re-testing the transcoder change which caused some problems last week. It is available in v2019.08.13.0310
We have tested on DS916+ and DS918+ and are fairly confident it works as expected across CPUs now. More testing would be appreciated.

Is there a program you recommend for measuring CPU usage for transcoding in Windows 10?
I’ve been monitoring my NAS (Linux), I think in Win10 you have similar monitoring methods...but I’m a Win10 neophyte...hopefully other Win 10 users can assist here!
