Trash not working on latest tvos and ipados testflight

Im seeing this on ipadsos test flight as well 9.12.1

Seems like this morning after updating to latest tvos testflight, when you trash a recording, you now have to close the app and refresh before it is eliminated from the UI.

As this is a UI issue you are describing, please provide more details on this so that we can attempt to reproduce it.

  1. Where (what section) in the app did you trash the recording?
  2. What did you select to trash the recording.
  3. After trashing it, what happened? What did you expect to happen?

There are many places and ways to trash a recording in Channels. It's important to provide exactly how you did it.

This occurred with several recent recordings of local OTA news from yesterday and early this am..

I was in the home page, using the up next menu. I selected the news program, and from the submenu just right clicked over with my remote to select the trash can and hit enter.

Instead of the show disappearing, it remained in the up next menu.

This occurred for a couple of different local news broadcasts that I was cleaning up in my library.

Out of curiosity , I exited the app, and used the app switcher to shut down the app. Once reloaded, after the “ preparing…” menu, I went back to the home page and the programs were deleted as expected.

I repeated this again with another show, and the same thing happened. The app needed a reboot to show the program deleted.

Now several hors later after seeing your reply @maddox I just tried to duplicate this behavior with a test recording.
This time it was a recording in progress, so I had to confirm the deletion.

After confirming the deletion, the show still appears in up next..
And even with repeated deletes it doesnt leave the up next

Happens all the time in iOS as well when deleting from any part of navigation from “up next” section.
