TVE & Locast no Dolby 5.1?

I am noticing that recordings from TVE streams don't have 5.1 Dolby when the broadcast versions do.
Is this because TVE doesn't carry the Dolby 5.1 audio?
If this is the case it will let me prioritize the broadcast over the TVE stream so I can correct this.

Other question is the true for all TVE & Locast streams?

That's correct. TVE streams do not carry 5.1 channel audio. I can't speak on Locast.

The streams only carry English stereo audio. Alternate audio streams, such as Spanish-language SAP tracks, are not available.
