Is there a method to update the password used by the TVE tuner to authorize besides deleting/recreating the tuner?
No not at the moment. You have to remove and readd.
Okay, thanks for the confirmation. Fyi, I experienced a forced password reset on Xfinity today that broke TVE. Other than providing the means to easily update the password, I'm not sure if there's anything that could be done to proactively monitor for when it occurs.

No effect on schedule or passes
wasn't there a curl command to do that? (memory failing, stack overflow, cannot retreive, search fu sucks)

Just received a "Force password reset"via Xfinity today too. Guess they are cleaning house via IP. Whelp it was fun while it lasted...
