URayTech HDMI Video Encoder for Custom Channels source?

I have a URayTech HDMI Video Encoder sending out a stream, but I can't quite figure out the right settings to make it work as a Custom Channels source. Can anyone guide me a bit?

I can have it generate an HLS TS URL: http://local IP/0.m3u8 which plays fine in VLC or Safari. It doesn't work in Channels, however saying "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."

The encoder also supports lots of other output stream formats.

Not sure how you are using the encoder but if it is with ADBTuner then you have to use MPEG-TS as the stream. ADBTuner does not work with HLS streams. See ADBTuner: A "channel tuning" application for networked Google TV / Android TV devices for ADBTuner setup.

I am not used ADBTuner, but rather trying to setup a stream right from the HDMI encoder direct to Channels. I'm going to play around with the text option instead of loading the M3U so I can play with different URLs.

This worked for HLS as a Text source:

#EXTM3U

#EXTINF:-1 channel-id="Library" channel-number="9000" tvg-logo="https://ipaddress/logo.jpg" tvc-name="Library" tvc-guide-title="Library TV" tvc-guide-description="Live stream from the Library TV." tvc-guide-art="https://ipaddress/art.jpg",Library
