Nick over in silicondust answered my request and fixed this on their XMLTV export maybe channels can do the same ... tested and works great.

The XMLTV generator has been updated to output <previously-shown/> if the airing isn't live and isn't new.

Please let me know if that helps with Plex.

Thanks it is in the XML.

Verified and works in Plex. Older Shows no longer marked NEW.
